I very rarely use it--in fact, bought a bottle to do this cabbage but the barely used it; I don't like hard lines it leaves--but, to keep it from glopping on your brush, rub the brush with some dishsoap before using; I've found it works! I don't think you lost any of the freshness, and I am wondering how you avoid the dark lines of paint that gather along the edges of the fluid. I have said many times that I am going to give masking fluid up for good. But it manages to seduce me with the promise that this time it will be different.
