From the kitchen window sill

The sun shines in this window and it is a joy to line up the broken-off tulip, a few other flowers and see them against the light.

Thanks for your comments on my back garden w/c. I've so enjoyed looking at your posts from your stay at Elv.
The tulip in the window is almost its own little stain glass masterpiece! Perhaps they were the inspiration for folk to mend a broken pane with colored glass, knowing how it would cheer their spirits on a overcast day. I'm glad to know what hellebores is now too!! XXXOOO

This is really lovely; I love how the subtle neutral colors really make that orange pop! And the glass is wonderful!
